Saturday evening (August 9th), we will be hosting an evening of entertainlent in the Social Club bar. With music from "Scarlet Swing".
Traders and visitors staying locally are invited to join us.
Music beginning at 9pm.

Building on the success of previous years, the Flight Refuelling Amateur Radio Society is once again proud to host the most popular rally on the South coast.

Features this year

    Indoor and outdoor areas full of radio, computing, and electronics. traders

    Hamfest attracts traders from all over the UK, exhibiting items for amateur radio, computing, and electronics hobbyists. Also art and craft stalls. Many being under cover in our well appointed social club.

    For the smaller trader, Hamfest also operates a very popular car boot sale area.

    Ample free parking is available on the event site.

    Food and Drink, Licensed bar

    Hamfest is located at FRARS, which is in the grounds of the Cobham Sports and Social Club, who provide a licensed bar as well as hot food and other refreshments.

    Overnight On-site Camping

    Overnight camping facilities will be available on-site at Hamfest for the night of Saturday 9th August. To book an overnight pitch, please contact us (details below).
    Camping for public is only available for tents, which must be removed well before the gates open on the Sunday.
    Caravans/large campers cannot be accommodated, unless pre-booked as a trader.

Other features

    FRARS HQ will be open to the public with its outstanding facilities on display.

    Clubs and Associations join us to meet with the amateur community.

    Free Children's Play Area - conveniently situated next to the main Hamfest field, and outside the licensed bar.

    Model Railway - The Wimborne Model Engineers will be running their minature railway again this year. This is situated on the rally site and will be open for rides.

    Under 14's free

    Please have your change ready at the gate to avoid congestion

    Please note that Car boot pitches are primarily reserved for cars. Sellers using large commercial vans should book as 'Field traders'.

    Traders may stay on site on the Sunday to depart Monday morning. Please note that the site gates will be locked overnight.
