Building on the success of previous years, the Flight Refuelling Amateur Radio Society is once again proud to host the most popular rally on the South coast. Features this year include: Large marquees full of radio, computing, and electronics traders  | Hamfest attracts traders from all over the UK, exhibiting items for amateur radio, computing, and electronics hobbyists. Also art and craft stalls. Many being under cover in our marquee. For the smaller trader, Hamfest also operates a very popular car boot sale area. Ample free parking is available on the event site. |
| Food and Drink, Licensed bar Hamfest is located at FRARS, which is in the grounds of the Cobham Sports and Social Club, who provide a licensed bar as well as bar food and other refreshments. |  |
Tesla coil (mini lightning generator) demonstration  | As in previous years, FRARS member, Chuck Hobson G0MDK will be on hand to give demonstrations of his awesome Tesla coil. These coils can produce lightning bolts over 12" long as well as a range of other impressive high voltage effects. Overnight On-site Camping Overnight camping facilities will be available on-site at Hamfest for the night of Saturday 13th August. To book an overnight pitch, please contact Mike Sykes (details below). Camping for public is only available for tents, which must be removed well before the gates open on the Sunday. Caravans/large campers cannot be accommodated, unless pre-booked as a trader.

Other features FRARS HQ will be open to the public with its amazing facilities on display Clubs and Associations join us to meet with the amateur community. Bill Journeaux will be showing off his unique collection of antique radio and television equipment in the Cobham Sports and Social Club building. Sinclair Collection. We hope to have a display of the products of Clive Sinclair. Including the famous C5 electric car. Free Children's Play Area - conveniently situated next to the main Hamfest field, and outside the licensed bar. Talk-In on 145.550MHz FM
